Brushes

As an aspiring icon and wallpaper-maker, and GIMP-user, I staretd searching for brushes for GIMP today. While textures are usually provided as .jpg s, brushes are a different beast. As I am searching for more, I will continue to update this post with resources.

How to add brushes to GIMP:

EDIT: Okay, appearantly from version 2.4 on you can also use Photoshop brushes on GIMP? I never knew, even though I have 2.6. Huh.

Cool, I'll add your entry to this community's link collection on delicious. If you don't mind, that is.

Here are some brushes to add to the list. They're technically for Photoshop, but they should work in Gimp, too (at the very least, I know the grunge pack works, because I've used it myself). There's a huge variety and from the one I've used, they're well done.
